North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Sector 7 deployed nine personnel to carry out disinfectant spraying in Regency Plaza, Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

It is carried out to prevent COVID-19 transmission in Pramuka Island

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency Sector 7 personnel on duty, Eko Budianto mentioned, his side used one unit water sprayer to disinfect park, benches, and roads.

"It is carried out to prevent COVID-19 transmission in Pramuka Island. Our personnel use 15 liters of disinfectant liquid," he explained, Friday (4/23).

According to him, disinfectant spraying was carried out because Pramuka Island is one of residential islands used for tourism.

"People's mobility, both residents and tourists, is quite high especially in weekends. Thus we need to carry out disinfectant spraying," he said.
