40 Satpol PP Deployed to Dispel PKL along Tanah Abang Sidewalks

Some 40 personnel of Central Jakarta Satpol PP had to dispel street vendors (PKL) who sell on the sidewalks and bus stops in front of Block F Tanah Abang Market, on Friday (4/23).

Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP Head Budi Salamun said it was done to anticipate the crowd along the sidewalk and to restore the function of the sidewalk for pedestrians.

To conduct it, his party set up six security posts guarded by 40 personnel.
