100 Joint Personnel Alerted to Monitor PSBB in Jatinegara

As many as 100 joint personnel have been alerted to conduct PSBB sweeping in Jatinegara Sub-district area, precisely in a number of locations that still cause a mass crowd amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

"Ahead of takbiran (recital of God is great) event is prone to street vendors (PKL). Thus there must be sweeping action and sanction as a deterrent effect. But we still prioritize human values in taking action," expressed Jatinegara Sub-district Head, Endang Sofyan, Saturday (5/23).

Jatinegara Sub-district Vice Head Endang Kartika Wahyuningsih added those 100 joint personnel consist of urban village and sub-district apparatuses, Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, Health Sub-agency assisted by army/police.

"Aside that, we also instruct PPSU members to keep environment and urban village offices clean during Eid al-Fitr holiday," she stated.

There are critical points of PKL during takbiran such as along Jalan Matraman Raya to Jalan Bekasi Barat Raya, precisely starting from Gunung Antang Bridge area to under the Jatinegara Bridge or Jatinegara Viaduct Park.
