On the second week of April 2021, there were 737 or 96 percent of total 994 elderly residents in Kenari Urban Village, Senen Sub-district, Central Jakarta, have been injected with COVID-19 vaccines.

Kenari Urban Village Head, Ojoh Juariyah mentioned, her side together with Senen Sub-district Health Center (Puskesmas) health workers continued to encourage elderly residents to take second dose vaccine at urban village health center.

"We use door-to-door method to encourage elderly residents to participate in second vaccination," she said, Tuesday (4/27).

According to her, there were 864 elderly residents who came to the vaccination sites for second vaccination. But 127 of them had their vaccination postponed due to high blood pressure.

"We are still monitoring the condition of 127 elderly who have to postpone their second vaccination. If their blood pressure is normal, they can go directly to health center to get second dose vaccine," she informed.

Based on data collected by health team and urban village dasawisma cadres, there are 130 residents who are not allowed to be vaccinated because they have comorbidities such as heart disease and cancer.
