City Still Opens Joint Collaboration Through KSBB Food

Jakarta Government through Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) facilitates people to share with others in need in Ramadan month. From it was implemented on April 24, 2020, KSBB Food has continued until Ramadan in 2021. Various assistance given from groceries, ready-to-eat food, Eid packages, to THR (holiday allowance) have been collected to be given to underprivileged residents at RW, orphanage, and pesantren levels.

Jakarta Secretary (Setda) Regional Cooperation Bureau Head, Andhika Permata conveyed that collaborators are enthusiastic in helping others in Ramadan month. This is the reason why KBB program is still continued until Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijr.

"KSBB was formed based on belief that Jakarta residents have a very strong spirit of solidarity and togetherness, although they are in still in COVID-19 pandemic period. The sense of togetherness is getting stronger in Ramadan Month which is a moment to share with others," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Released.

As of April 5, Pokja KSBB has collected commitments from donors in form of 460,032 staple food packages, 174,948 ready-to-eat meals, 33,687 Eid al-Fitr packages and 2,344 THR packages. Pokja KSBB has also received assistance from various parties, including government agencies, businessmen, social institutions, associations, volunteer groups. Until now, there are 112 donors in groups and 12 individual donors.

In order to proved KSBB assistance, people can coordinate with nine aggregators within Jakarta Government, namely ACT, PMI Jakarta, Rumah Zakat, Dompet Dhuafa, Human Initiative, Jakarta BAZNAS BAZIS, LAZ NU, LAZ MU, and Soliditarity. They can also give the assistance directly through corona.jakarta.go.id/id/kolaborasi.

Moreover, in Ramadan month, his side also prepared and distributed ready-to-eat meals for residents to break their fast. This program is also expected to improve people's economy since foods are purchased from small shops in local area.
