"Ahead and during Ramadan until Eid, we are routinely monitoring food products at traditional markets. Usually it is done together with the KPKP Agency and BPOM," she expressed, Friday (4/30).

Therefore, how do we know that a food product is pure and does not contain harmful chemical compounds? The following are the tips:

1. Food products for chicken and fish, if the meat contains chemicals it is usually not infested with flies. Then no distinctive smell of chicken, meat and fish

2. The texture looks clearer and more stocky, but very unnatural. Of course, do not buy it

Therefore, she suggested buying fresh meat, chicken and fish. If not, then buy frozen products. Because prozen or frozen is healthier.

"For instance, for chickens after slaughtered, the good period is 6-8 hours. After that it is no longer worth consuming. Unless the meat is frozen it can last longer as the bacteria have died," she explained.

For agricultural products, especially for vegetables, according to her, so far no dangerous chemical substances had been found.

"Several times conducting monitoring in the field, we have not found any vegetables that contain harmful chemicals on the market," she stated.
