Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of April 30

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of April 29.

The number of people tested last week has reached 62,401

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 12,140 specimens. 9,712 of them were to diagnose new cases with 789 positive and 8,923 negative results. In addition, an antigen test was also held today, where 4,757 were tested, with 76 positive results and 4,681 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 62,401, while 350,113 people have undergone the swab tests. As for the number of active cases in Jakarta, date was 6,948 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or increased to 230 cases," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta's PPID press release, Friday (4/30).

As for the total number of confirmation cases in Jakarta to date was 408,620 cases. Of these cases, 394,403 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 96.7% and 6,733 people died with a world with a death rate of 1.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.7%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 8.6%, while Indonesia was 11%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process was still ongoing. The number of vaccination targets for stages 1 and 2 (health workers, the elderly, and public servants) was 3,000,689 people. The total vaccination dose 1 was currently 1,906,096 people (63.5%) and the total vaccination dose 2 now reached 1,214,492 people (40.5%).

With the detailed, vaccination dose 1 for health workers reached 127,525 people (113.6%) and vaccination dose 2 included 111,399 people (99.2%), with a vaccination target of 112,301 people. As for the elderly, vaccination dose 1 was done to 574,631 people (63.0%) and vaccination dose 2 included 453,025 people (49,7%), with a vaccination target of 911,631 people.
