Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of April 29

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of April 29.

The number of people tested last week has reached 61,360

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 11,949 specimens. 9,559 of them were to diagnose new cases with 987 positive and 8,572 negative results. In addition, an antigen test was also held today, where 4,783 were tested, with 75 positive results and 4,708 negative results.

Latest Information on COVID-19 Cases and Vaccination in Jakarta as of April 28, 2021

As for the total number of confirmation cases in Jakarta to date was 407,831 cases. Of these cases, 394,403 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 96.7% and 6,710 people died with a world with a death rate of 1.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.7%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 8.9%, while Indonesia was 11%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process was still ongoing. The number of vaccination targets for stages 1 and 2 (health workers, the elderly, and public servants) was 3,000,689 people. The total vaccination dose 1 was currently 1,878,269 people (62.6%) and the total vaccination dose 2 now reached 1,182,862 people (39.4%).
