Thousand Islands KPKP Provides 275 Productive Tree Seeds for Free

Thousand Islands Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency, provided 275 productive tree seeds that residents could get for free.

They just need to come by bringing photocopy of their ID cards (e-KTP) and family card (KK)

Thousand Islands KPKP Sub-agency Head, Devi Lidya conveyed, Thousand Islands residents who want the seeds can come to KPKP Sub-agency office in Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

"They just need to come by bringing photocopy of their ID cards (e-KTP) and family card (KK). Service is available from Monday to Friday during working hours," she explained, Saturday (5/1).

In detail, her side provided 50 cipedak avocado tree seeds, 50 bilimbi tree seeds, 25 sweet starfruit tree seeds, 50 watery rose apple tree seeds, and 50 orange tree seeds.

"Apart from enjoying the fruit, residents can also participate in greening the environment by planting these productive trees. Until now, from total 275 tree seeds, only 36 tree seeds that have been requested by residents," she mentioned.

For vegetable seeds, her side also provided 460 chili and eggplant seeds. But only 60 seeds that have been distributed to residents.

"We urge residents to take advantage of this free tree seeds distribution thus food security is maintained while at the same time also making Thousand Islands greener by planting in their yard," she stated.
