Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of May 3

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of May 3.

The number of people tested last week has reached 61,641

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 9,020 specimens. 6,765 of them were to diagnose new cases with 757 positive and 6,008 negative results. In addition, an antigen test was also held today, where 3,378 were tested, with 44 positive results and 3,334 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 61,641, while 352,338 people have undergone the swab tests. As for the number of active cases in Jakarta, date was 7,020 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or decreased to 19 cases," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta's PPID press release, Monday (5/3).

As for the total number of confirmation cases in Jakarta to date was 411,157 cases. Of these cases, 397,349 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 96.6% and 6,788 people died with a world with a death rate of 1.7%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.7%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 8.7%, while Indonesia was 11%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process was still ongoing. The number of vaccination targets for stages 1 and 2 (health workers, the elderly, and public servants) was 3,000,689 people. The total vaccination dose 1 was currently 1,947,986 people (64.9%) and the total vaccination dose 2 now reached 1,256,966 people (41.9%).

With the detailed, vaccination dose 1 for health workers reached 127,813 people (113.8) and vaccination dose 2 included 111,576 people (99.4%), with a vaccination target of 112,301 people.
