BMKG: Rain Expected Across Parts of Jakarta Today

Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning in East and South Jakarta in the afternoon and at night

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast that Jakarta will see light to medium rain in the afternoon/evening and or at night, on Thursday (5/6).

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning in East and South Jakarta in the afternoon and at night," stated BMKG's official site.

Rain to Fall Throughout Jakarta This Afternoon and Evening

In the morning, West, Central, South, East and North Jakarta will see cloudy, while light rain in Thousand Islands.

While West, South and East Jakarta will experience light-moderate rain accompanied by lightning. Cloudy is expected in Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

At night, South and East Jakarta is forecast to see light rain and cloudy in West, Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands. Meanwhile at tomorrow's dawn, all five regions would be sunny cloudy.

Temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24 to 33 degrees Celsius with humidity of 70 to 100 percent.
