Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency supplied clean water for 27 hand washing facilities in public areas such as in main pier, parks, tourist destination, government office, and main roads in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri mentioned, water tanks for public hand washing facilities are usually refilled at the end of the week.

"We prioritize it for residents and tourists as a prevention against COVID-19 transmission," he said, Friday (5/7).

His side deployed 7 personnel and 1 motor cart to refill water tanks in every hand washing facilities.

"Personnel use about 3,000 liters of clean water taken from SWRO in Untung Jawa Island," he informed.
