Jakarta Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) together with Greater Jakarta city and regency leaders held coordination meeting related to mutual agreement in carrying out health protocol during Eid al-Fitr. This meeting was held at Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, on Monday (5/10).
First, it is still in pandemic, thus provisions for implementing health protocol should be adhered to, such as 5M
In this coordination meeting, Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan said that the entire Jabobetabek-Cianjur area must discuss about general provisions to anticipate increase in number of COVID-19 active cases. After it has been agreed by each party, each relevant regional government will prepare circular letter and appeal related to these provisions.
"First, it is still in pandemic, thus provisions for implementing health protocol should be adhered to, such as 5M. Moreover, there is an agreement that community is prioritized to do activities at home and they are recommended not to visit each other in the same area or across region, both at village, urban village, sub-district, city, regency, or provincial levels," he stated as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
Central Jakarta Anticipates Crowd During Takbiran Night"It answers topic that has often been discussed, that visiting others within village, between villages, or even between sub-district is not recommended," he conveyed.
This coordination meeting also explained that Eid al-Fitr prayer activity is recommended to be done at home, and other alternative is in local worship places, without visiting areas far from home. It needs to be done to avoid cross-regional transmission, and if it is done at local mosque, its maximum capacity is 50 percent.
Furthermore, halal bihalal and open house activities are still prohibited in this year. People are urged to do gathering activities, visiting community leaders, friends, and relatives virtually until the end of Shawwal month. Thus when office starts to operate after Eid, his side appealed not to hold halal bi halal to break the transmission chain.
"Moreover, takbiran events should be carried out virtually in local mosque with maximum capacity of 10 percent. Polda Metro Jaya will also hold Ketupat Jaya Operation to hold crowd free management between 6 PM - 10 PM. After 10 PM, protocol roads will be cleared or freed from traffic activities," he mentioned.
In this meeting, his side also discussed about alms (zakat) operational process that should be carried out directly to the recipients by following health protocol. Besides, pilgrimage to grave is also prohibited on May 12-16, 2021.
"Then, restaurants and shopping centers in entire Jabodetabek area continue to limit visitors up to 50 percent and close at 21:00. For tourist destination area is limited to maximum 30 percent visitors. It is done thus tourist destinations can only be visited by local visitors, such as tourist destination areas in Bogor can only be visited by visitors from Bogor, as well as in Jakarta only can be visited by visitors from Jakarta (have Jakarta ID card). Those are some agreements that will be arranged further in decree, circular or appeal letter by each regional heads," he added.
