Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama's inauguration as the new Jakarta Governor will be held simply.
City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed there will be no a special occasion, such as carnival culture or folk party during the governor inauguration. "There is no special occasion and we directly work, considering we only have three years away," he stated, City Hall, Monday (11/17).
Ahok Inauguration Tomorrow or WednesdayHe admitted his party has consulted with ministry's general director for regional autonomy, Djohermansyah Djohan, related with Ahok inauguration. But he has not known when and where he would be inaugurated.
"I had contacted Mr. Djohermasyah Djohan to ask about progress of presidential decree. He told me that the decree already sent to president," he expressed.
He is not concerned about the inauguration center. "No problem, it could be held in City Hall or Presidential Palace," revealed former Mayor of Central Jakarta.
For safeguarding the inauguration, the City Police will deploy 10,184 joint personnel consisting of City Police, Regional Military Command (Kodam Jaya), and Jakarta Provincial Government.
