School Buses Transport 16 Travelers to Integrated Isolation Sites

From Monday (5/17) to Tuesday (5/18) noon, Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s School Transportation Management Unit (UPAS) had transported 16 travelers who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 to integrated isolation site.

Those who have been confirmed positive are transported to Wisma Atlet, Citra Inn Cikarang Hotel, and Ibis Cikarang Hotel

Jakarta Dishub's UPAS Head, Ali Murtadho stated, those travelers were confirmed positive for COVID-19 after undergoing rapid antigen test at Kedungwaringin Integrated Checkpoint, Jakarta-Cikampek KM 34 Toll, and Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal.

"Those who have been confirmed positive are transported to Wisma Atlet, Citra Inn Cikarang Hotel, and Ibis Cikarang Hotel," he added, Tuesday (5/18).

UPAS Deploys 14 Buses to Transport Travelers to Take Rapid Antigen Test

His side deployed 14 school buses to be on standby at several COVID-19 checkpoints.

"Of course we hope they are tested negative for COVID-19. But, we must be vigilant as an anticipatory effort in preventing COVID-19 spread," he mentioned.

For information, UPAS deployed 14 school buses to transport travelers who entered Jakarta without COVID-free certificate to take rapid antigen test.

Those buses also used to transport travelers who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 to designated quarantine/isolation sites or hospitals.

Those fleets are on standby in several checkpoints, such as Cikampek-Jakarta KM 34 toll road, Kedungwaringin Bekasi, Tanjung Priok Port, number of intercity and interprovincial (AKAP) bus terminals, including Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, Kalideres Terminal, and Rawa Buaya Terminal.

His side also deployed 87 personnel, consisting of drivers, assistants, and supervisors.
