19 People in Kedoya Utara Netted For Not Wearing Mask

Kedoya Utara Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta held Mask Operation on Jl. Kedoya Raya, in front of Cosmos Park. As the result, 19 people were netted for not wearing masks and subjected to social sanction.

Kedoya Utara Urban Village Head, Tubagus Masarul Iman mentioned, those 19 people were subjected to sweep the street. Officers on duty also gave them masks.

"We are not only give them sanction, but also educate them to comply with health protocol in order to prevent COVID-19 and distribute masks," he explained, Friday (5/21).

This activity was carried out according to Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 3/2020 on Implementation of Perda No. 2/2020 regarding COVID-19 Handling in Jakarta Province as well as Gubernatorial Regulation No. 3/2021 on Guidelines for Implementing Perda No. 3/2020 about COVID-19 Handling in Jakarta.

As well as Jakarta Gubernatorial Decree (Kepgub) No.434/2021 concerning Amendments to Kepgub No. 405/2021 about Extending Enforcement of Micro-scale Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM Mikro).  

"Today's activity runs well, violators have understood their mistakes. We urge residents to always comply with health protocol to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he stated.
