Second Phase of Road Bike Lane Trial on Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang JLNT Held Tomorrow

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) will test the second phase of Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang Non-Toll Flyover (JLNT) road bike lane on Sunday (5/30). It will be carried out at the same time and route as the previous trial.

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo stated, second phase of trial will start at 05:00-08:00. On the second trial, he wanted to get input and complete picture from cyclists both from operational and technical side of using Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang JLNT road bike lane in the future.

"We hope the second trial will receive inputs from community or participants in order to make it perfect," he mentioned, Saturday (5/29).

According to him, based on evaluation on the first phase trial, his side installed additional signs and repaired the roads.

"There are several things related to road infrastructure, such as signs that should be implemented and repairing the bike lane," he conveyed.
