Channels in RW 03 Untung Jawa Island Cleaned Up

Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency cleaned up channels at RT 01, RT 02, RT 03 of RW 03, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri stated, his side has collected 17 sacks of garbage and mud sedimentation from those channels.

"We deploy 10 personnel from local SDA Unit. Channel cleaning work becomes our routine task to prevent inundation in the region," he said, Monday (5/31).

He explained, his side cleaned up channel at RT 01 with length 233.7 meters; in RT 02 with length 175.4 meters, and in RT 03 with length 186.1 meters.

"From channel in RT 01, we have collected 4 sacks of garbage and mud sedimentation, while 5 sacks from channel in RT 02, and 8 sacks from channels in RT 03," he conveyed.
