Kelapa Island and Harapan Island Urban Villages are Beautified Ahead of 494th Anniversary of Jakarta

Approaching Jakarta's 494th Anniversary, Kelapa Island and Harapan Island Urban Villages, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands are making improvements. Since they are popular among tourists, local government beautifies the residential islands to make them look more beautiful, neat, and clean.

Kelapa Island Urban Village Acting Head (Plt), Muslim stated, 10 PPSU personnel were deployed to paint walls in several locations, including Urban Village Plaza, schools, plant pots, as well as fences and walls of residents' houses.

"We paint it using variety of bright colors with theme of Jakarta, City of Collaboration," he explained, Monday (5/31).

On the other hand, Harapan Island Urban Village Head, Yusuf conveyed, his side also painted Reverse Osmosis (RO) building at RT 05/01.

"We deploy 10 PPSU personnel to paint it with theme Jakarta, City of Collaboration," he closed.
