Officers will verify data from prospective new students

The community service post for public school enrollment (PPDB) in East Jakarta has started to operate. The public can access them at SMKN 26 Rawamangun SMPN 103 Cijantung.

East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency Head, Nurrahman disclosed it was aimed at helping residents verify their child's citizenship identification numbers (NIK) to be registered at school. Each post had three officers.

"Officers will verify data from prospective new students. This is because the initial data for prospective new students is related to population administration," he said, Tuesday (6/8).

East Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency's Registration Division Head, Puji Yanti added her also had a PPDB complaint service via WhatsApp: 0813 8263 0415. The service post also had another complaint service number, namely for post at SMAN 26 via WhatsApp: 0813 1914 1136 and 0877 1615 0554 and post at SMPN 103 Cijantung via WhatsApp: 0899 600 6001 and 0899 600 6002.

"Residents can call the telephone number that we told before. We also have the Betawi Avocado application, which is to find out whether prospective students are registered in the intended zoning or not," she said.

Since it was operated on Monday (6/7) yesterday, she assessed, many residents had consulted via WhatsApp. Most ask about their child's NIK, whether they are registered in the Dukcapil network or not, as well as ask about the zoning that is intended to register their children to school.

"Every day we serve 30-50 questions from people who are registering their children to school," she uttered.
