250 RW 07 Jatinegara Residents Participate in COVID-19 Vaccination

Total 250 residents from aged 18 years to elderly at RW 07 Jatinegara Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta underwent COVID-19 vaccination.

So far, there are no obstacles in the field

Jatinegara Urban Village Health Center (Puskesmas) Head, Farida stated, vaccination for RW 07 residents has been carried out since Monday (6/7) and is targeted to be completed on Friday (6/11).

It involved 15 health workers for this vaccination with assistance from TP PKK, dasawisma, Jumantik, Posyandu cadres, LMK, and R T/RW administrators.

"In average, we have vaccinated 250 people a day. So far, there are no obstacles in the field," she conveyed, Thursday (6/10).

According to her, not all residents can be vaccinated immediately, especially elderly. For those who have high fever, hypertension, asthma or poor health conditions, vaccine injection will be postponed.

Jatinegara Urban Village Head, Slamet Sihabudin explained, his side prioritized door-to-door vaccination service at RW 07 because the region is a densely populated area that is prone for COVID-19 transmission.

"Vaccination site is quite strategic and wide. This way, health protocol can be implemented well although there are many people who come to the location," he mentioned.
