Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of June 14

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of June 14.

The number of people tested last week has reached 80,764

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 14,964 specimens. 11,671 of them were to diagnose new cases with 2,722 positive and 8,949 negative results. In addition, an antigen test was also held today, where 2,978 were tested, with 201 positive results and 2,777 negative results.

"The WHO test target is 1,000 people who are tested by PCR per million population per week (not specimens), meaning that the WHO target for Jakarta is a minimum of 10,645 people tested per week. This target has been surpassed by Jakarta for some time. The number of people tested last week has reached 80,764 while 387,795 people have undergone the swab tests," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta's PPID press release, Monday (6/14).

As for the number of active cases in Jakarta, date is 19,096 people who are undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or increased to 1,652 cases. While the total number of confirmation cases in Jakarta to date was 450,793 cases.

Of these cases, 424,088 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 94.1% and 7,609 people died with a world with a death rate of 1.7%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.8%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 17.9%, while Indonesia was 10.9%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process was still ongoing. The number of vaccination targets for stages 1 and 2 (health workers, the elderly, and public servants) was 3,000,689 people. The total vaccination dose 1 was currently 2,880,926people (96.0%) and the total vaccination dose 2 now reached 1,861,955 people (62.1%). While for the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination, the total in Jakarta was currently 41,244 people.

With the detailed, vaccination dose 1 for health workers reached 135,728 people (120.9%) and vaccination dose 2 included 120,935 people (107.7%), with a vaccination target of 112,301 people.

As for the elderly, vaccination dose 1 was done to 595,046 people (65.3%) and vaccination dose 2 included 535,273 people (58.7%), with a vaccination target of 911,631 people.
