The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, refilled 27 public hand-washing water facilities in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, on Tuesday (6/15).
According to Hendri, Sub-agency Head of Thousand Islands SDA, those public-washing water facilities were located at the main piers, government offices, child-friendly integrated public spaces (RPTRA), tourist sites, parks and along neighborhood streets.

It was expected to facilitate residents to implement one of the health protocols, namely, diligently washing hands with soap in running water.
"For the supply needs of 1,000 liters of clean water used, sourced from SWRO on Untung Jawa Island," he stated.
