UPAS Schedules Antigen Test for 426 School Bus Crews and Mechanics

As many as 426 PJLP personnel at Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s School Transportation Unit (UPAS) underwent antigen test to anticipate COVID-19 spread.

Currently, there are 2 personnel with reactive swab test results and positive PCR results

Jakarta Dishub's UPAS Head, Ali Murthadho mentioned, those 426 PJLP personnel are school bus crews and mechanics.

He assessed that antigen test should be carried out because most of them transported COVID-19 patients and health workers to hospitals and Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

"Our PJLP personnel are at the forefront of dealing with COVID-19. Every day they evacuate COVID-19 patients to hospitals and Wisma Atlet. Thus antigen test should be carried out gradually for these 426 PJLP personnel," he conveyed, Friday (6/18).

According to him, since Monday (6/14) until Friday (6/18), 74 PJLP personnel had taken antigen test at Kramat Jati Sub-district Health Center (Puskesmas) and COVID-19 referral hospitals which handled by UPAS.

He targeted swab test for 426 personnel to be completed until end of this June. Its schedule is adjusted to hospitals and health centers' schedules. If the result is reactive, PCR swab should be carried out immediately.

"Currently, there are 2 personnel with reactive swab test results and positive PCR results. One of them is referred to Hermina Jatinegara Hospital, while the other one to Wisma Atlet," he explained.
