Jakarta to See Rain This Sunday

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast rain in some areas of the capital at noon and in the late afternoon.

Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in West, East and South Jakarta at noon and on the late afternoon

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in West, East and South Jakarta at noon and on the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

At noon, rain of moderate intensity will potentially fall in West and East Jakarta, followed by rain accompanied by lightning in South Jakarta, and light rain in Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Rain to Fall Throughout The Day in Parts of Jakarta

Entering the evening, all five regions of Jakarta and Thousand Islands will be cloudy.

Then at tomorrow's dawn, moderate rain is expected to fall in Thousand Islands, light rain in North Jakarta, but cloudy in West, Central, South, and East Jakarta

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 25 to 32 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 65 to 95 percent.
