2,230 People in Tugu Selatan Vaccinated against Covid

To minimize the surge cases, the Covid-19 vaccination service for people aged 18 or over continues to be intensified in Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta.

"It is held in RW posts, including in schools and on the courtyard of urban village office," expressed Tugu Selatan Urban Village Head, Sukarmin, Monday (6/21).

Based on the data as of June 19, he stated, as many as 2,230 people had undergone the first dose. They were from seven RWs.

"Alhamdulillah everything goes well, moreover the enthusiasm of the people is quite high. To smoothen it, we involve RT/RW task forces, Satpol PP, Babinsa, urban village puskesmas, as well as Dasawisma and PKK cadres," he stated.

His party was targeting to vaccinate 250-300 people every day.

He assessed it is a joint effort to suppress the spread of Covid-19. Therefore, he called on residents, especially those in Tugu Selatan to take vaccination.

"Hopefully we can serve more. So please follow the guidelines given in order to prevent the crowd during vaccination" he stated.
