Close Loop Program Grand Launching, City Provides Cheap Raw Materials for Jakpreneurs

Jakarta Government through Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency and Perumda Pasar Jaya presented MSME empowerment program called 'Close Loop for Jakpreneur Welfare'. This program was carried out by providing cheap raw materials for coached entrepreneurs or Jakpreneurs.

This program aims to support economic recovery of MSMEs

Jakarta PPKUKM Acting Head (Plt), Andri Yansyah stated, Close Loop Program Grand Launching was held on this Wednesday (6/23) with strict health protocol in different locations. He revealed that Soft Launching of Close Loop Program had been carried out in November 2020 and the program continues to be developed until t oday.

"This program aims to support economic recovery of MSMEs in obtaining cheap raw materials in capital city. This program is a development of previous MSME development and empowerment programs in November 2020," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

According to him, cheap raw materials for Jakpreneurs had been prepared by Perumda Pasar Jaya in outlets which spread throughout Jakarta, from Mini DC, JakGrosir, and Jakmart. "For Mini DC, there are 51 outlets, JakGrosir 4 outlets, and JakMart 34 outlets," he added.

From all outlets, there are target of beneficiaries as many as 250 assisted MSMEs (Jakpreneurs) in every quarter. This Close Loop Program is expected to increase MSME productivity and make them more competitive in Jakarta.

For information, from evaluation results of impacts regarding activities that have been carried out in November 2020 until now, there are several things that have ben achieved by Jakarta Government through Close Loop Program, as follows:

1. Increasing MSME business capacity

2. Improving competitiveness

3. Opening market access/cheap raw materials

4. Strengthening MSMEs in facing COVID-19 pandemic

5. Providing assistant in registering Jakpreneur, market place through Close Loop Program

"Until now, there are 590 Jakpreneurs who become beneficiaries of this program. With total transaction of Rp 102,618,700 spread throughout Jakarta. God wiling, this program will continue to make it easier for MSMEs to survive during the pandemic," he closed.
