East Jakarta Distributes 3,150 Ready-to-Eat Meals for Residents Undergoing Self-isolation

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency provides 3,150 portions of ready-to-eat meals every day for residents in mini lockdown areas and those who are undergoing self-isolation.

Food is given three times a day for 14 days

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Purwono explained, 3,150 portions of ready-to-eat meals and mineral waters were distributed to RT 11/06 Ciracas Urban Village as many as 250 portions and 800 portions to RT 05/01 Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village.

"Food is given three times a day for 14 days," he explained, Thursday (6/24).

According to him, food supply needed for residents in mini lockdown areas is increasing after Eid holiday. Before Eid, his side provided 500 portions, but now it can reach 3,150 portions a day.

His side distributed food to integrated posts. Then COVID-19 Task Force officers at RW level will continue distributing it to residents.

"Ready-to-eat meals and drinks should be given routinely to the residents because their activities are restricted. We hope there are institutions or donors who are willing to provide food for residents," he conveyed.
