The Jakarta's 494th Anniversary is used as a moment for the Central Jakarta administration to stimulate the enthusiasm of its residents to rise from difficult situations during the coronavirus pandemic.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma asserted, it carried the theme 'Jakarta Bangkit, which aims at creating strong commitment and discipline, as well as high enthusiasm to get out of the pandemic situation.

To foster the enthusiasm of its residents, his party had held various activities such as planting trees, spreading fish seeds, cleaning villages and structuring road areas, as well as developing small businesses.

"We also hold many collaborations with all stakeholders in Central Jakarta. So we have done economic, social and health protocol improvement activities in connection with Jakarta's anniversary," he said, Tuesday (6/22).

He added that the Central Jakarta was also preparing to anticipate a spike cases by setting up controlled self-isolation areas. These included the Nagrak Flat, a number of hotels and guesthouses, sport facilities, Tanah Abang Arts Training Center Building, official residences and school buildings.
