SDA UPT Alkal Assists With Earthwork at Rorotan Public Cemetery

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency's Technical Management Unit for Equipment and Supply (UPT Alkal) assisted with earthwork carried out at Rorotan Public Cemetery (TPU), Cilincing, North Jakarta. This work started a week ago.

We estimate about 2,800 cubic meters of clay have been transported since last week

Jakarta SDA Agency's UPT Alkal Administration Sub-division Head, Boris Lumbangaol conveyed, for this earthwork, his side mixed clay that has been dried from dredging Side C JGC Cakung Reservoir and Ria Rio Pulogadung Reservoir.

This earthwork has been carried out since last week by deploying 14 dump trucks every day. Starting this week, number of heavy equipment has been increased to 25 dump trucks a day. Earthwork is needed because TPU Rorotan area was originally a rice field area.

"Currently we operate 25 dump trucks to transport the dried clay. We estimate about 2,800 cubic meters of clay have been transported since last week," he informed, Wednesday (7/7).

Moreover, his side also deployed 1 bulldozer to level the ground after clay was unloaded from dump truck. Thus it can be used for burial ground.

His side also deployed 2 jetting combi cars to spray dump trucks after unloading the dredged soil. Thus trucks leaving TPU Rorotan are clean and don't make asphalt dirty.
