City Tests Mobil Vaksin Keliling to Facilitate Vaccination Service for Residents

Jakarta Government is committed to meet the target as many as 8.8 million residents to be vaccinated in order to achieve herd community and make it easier for residents to access vaccines.

Therefore, Jakarta Government collaborates with various sides to achieve this target. One of them is to test Mobil Vaksin Keliling (Mobile Vaccination Service) in Pasar Senen, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (7/7).
There are 16 cars used for mobile vaccination service through collaboration with various stakeholders to reach more people in vaccination program in Jakarta.

Magenta Media Tama, as well as collaboration with Aprindo Apindo, Hipindo, Kadin and human resources who take a part as volunteers," explained Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, as quoted from PPID Press Release.After operating Mobil Vaksin Keliling, his side hopes it can facilitate all levels of society to get vaccination anytime and anywhere. Residents can register through JAKI application to access this mobile vaccination service. If they have registered for vaccination via JAKI in other vaccination locations, but then Mobil Vaksin Keliling visit their region, then they can immediately get vaccination with Mobil Vaksin Keliling as long as they have been registered in JAKI system.
"We hope these 16 cars can help to pick up residents who have difficulties in visiting vaccination locations. This way, we hope we can achieve our target," he conveyed.
"As of today, as many as 4.9 million people have been vaccinated in Jakarta. We are certain to achieve earlier the target that has been set by President by the end of August. For residents who want to participate in vaccination program, we suggest you to download JAKI application and choose time and location for vaccination," he explained.
Not only bringing vaccination closer to the community, this mobile vaccination service also accepts vaccination requests for children aged 12 years and over thus they can be more protected from COVID-19 exposure.
"It means all residents aged 12 and over can be vaccinated in this mobile vaccination service," he closed.
