KI Targets 169 Public Agencies to Participate in E-Monev 2021

Jakarta Information Commission (KI) will carry out Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Information Disclosure of Public Agencies throughout Jakarta in 2021 which targeted 169 participating public agencies. This activity is carried out effectively from July to November 2021 with stages adjusted to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Jakarta KI Institutional Division Head, Nelvia Gustina is in charge of the activity which will be attended by all regional PPIDs, sub-district PPIDs, urban village PPIDs, Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) PPIDs, and Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) PPIDs. She said that the previous year's monve had targeted 72 public agencies in 6 categories.

"This year we add more categories into 15, with target 169 public agencies participating, the increase is more than 100 percent," she mentioned in written statement received by Beritajakarta.id, Thursday (7/8).

Again, City Receives Award for Informative Qualification Public Agency

According to her, this is the first time Jakarta KI uses e-Money system for monev. It is implemented as a part of policy adapted during the pandemic. Public agencies are also asked to seriously evaluate public information services.

"Monev can be used by Public Agencies to show their compliance with Law No. 14/2008 concerning Public Information Openness, as well as their efforts to support Informative Jakarta for the fourth time in 2021. Jakarta KI greatly appreciates public agencies that have committed thus monev assessment category can be expanded," she conveyed.

According to her, there are additional categories such as political parties, prosecutors, police, sub-districts, urban villages, junior/senior high school representatives, and non-structural institutions. The exception for this year, Diskominfotik as provincial government PPID is not included in monev because it has participated in central KI monev.

Jakarta Kominfotik Agency Head, Atika Nur Rahmania added, her side supports the efforts in providing information as widely as possible in accordance with mandate of Jakarta Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 175/2016 and Law No. 14/2008 on Public Information Openness.

"During pandemic, the right to obtain information becomes complex, while still supporting efforts for the right to information as widely as possible in accordance with mandate of Jakarta Pergub No 175/2016 and Law 14/2008 on KIP. OPD must update regulations on exempt information without the intention of limiting public to obtain public information," she explained.

On this occasion, speakers from Finance Ministry PPUD, Titi Susanti and Abdul Rahman Ma'mun, and Magnitude Indonesia Chairperson also carried out simulation in testing the excluded information.
