2,500 Mangrove Seedlings Planted on North Coast of Tidung Island

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency's Marine Cultivation and Conservation Center (PBKL) Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) planted 2,500 mangrove seedlings on north coast of Tidung Island, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands.

Jakarta KPKP Agency's PBKL UPT Head, Zaenab Biki conveyed, he was working on rehabilitation in coastal area through collaboration with Penunggul environmental care group from Tidung Island.

"We need to maintain and preserve environmental ecosystem on Tidung Island continuously," he said, Friday (7/9).

Not only planting mangroves, his side also released 500 clownfish fingerlings and 1,200 humpback grouper fingerlings in Tidung Island waters.
