East Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Section Head, Puryanto said, this reservoir which prepared for flood control in Cilangkap, Setu, Cipayung and surrounding areas is being dredged with depth about 4 meters.

According to him, reservoir which covers area of five hectares was originally swam and previously an illegal fishing area. The land was released by government in 2000.
"We deploy 4 heavy equipment to dredge Munjul Reservoir. Its current progress has reached 30 percent. Our target is to finish it in the next four months," he conveyed, Tuesday (7/13).
In this dredging work, his side deployed 2 long arm units, 1 standard unit, and 1 amphibious unit.
"According to plan, we plan to add two heavy equipment from Pondok Ranggon Reservoir. Because dredging work in Pondok Ranggon Reservoir has been completed," he mentioned.
