Central Jakarta Satpol PP intensifies health protocol monitoring and limits people's mobility during Emergency PPKM. In mask operation carried out on July 3-12, his side netted 6,137 people who didn't wear mask.

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Bernard Tambunan said, mask operation is carried out routinely in 8 sub-districts as an effort to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"We intensifiy mask operation. We give social sanction to 6,125 violators and administrative fine to 12 violators with total Rp 2.8 million," he mentioned, Wednesday (7/14).

Health protocol monitoring and restriction on people's mobility were also carried out in offices and business places.

"Total 1,282 business places and offices have been inspected. As the result, 15 business places and offices are subject to temporary closure sanction for 3x24 hours, 20 are given warnings and 28 others are subject to temporary closure sanction until Emergency PPKM period ends," he explained.
