Emergency PPKM Patrol in Cengkareng Dispels Dozens of Street Vendors

The Cengkareng Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Asromadian says his side went on patrol and managed to dispel dozens of street vendors (PKL) and disperse the crowd on Tuesday (6/7) evening until Wednesday (7/7) dawn.

We disbanded about 25 PKL as they were found to be still selling until after 8 PM

According to him, the patrol itself was focused on Jalan Pulo Nangka, Jalan Daan Mogot, and Duri Kosambi Urban Village areas.

"We disbanded about 25 PKL as they were found to be still selling until after 8 PM. We also dispersed the crowd who were watching together the football match livestream on television in Duri Kosambi area," he expressed, Wednesday (7/7).

By so, he hoped that residents could be more compliant with the emergency public activity restrictions (PPKM Darurat) rules and be disciplined in implementing the 5M health protocol (wearing masks, maintaining distance, washing hands with soap, avoiding crowds and reducing mobility).

"Surely we prioritize the human side in carrying out the patrol during PPKM Darurat. It also runs smoothly," he stated.
