Batu Ampar PPKM Command Post Has a Team to Handle COVID-19 Bodies

Batu Ampar PPKM Command Post, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta has a team that handles COVID-19 bodies. So far, this team has handled 3 dead bodies at home due to COVID-19.

Especially for those who died at home due to COVID-19, this team will handle it quickly

Batu Ampar Urban Village Head, Achmad Ruslan mentioned, this team consisted of 8 people; 5 men and 3 women both from community and PPSU members. Previously, they had received training on how to handle COVID-19 bodies at Kramat Jati Sub-district Health Center (Puskesmas).

"Currently, Batu Ampar PPKM Command Post has funeral team. This team is very helpful for people in need, especially for those who died at home due to COVID-19, this team will handle it quickly," he conveyed, Thursday (7/22).

Anies Doesn't Want More People Died Due to COVID-19 and Reminds People to Comply with Health Protocol

So far, the funeral team has handled 3 residents who died at home due to exposure to COVID-19. In taking care the deceased, this team was assisted and guided by health workers from Kramat Jati Sub-district Health Center.

He reminded his residents to always comply with health protocol. If there is no urgent need, residents are advised to stay at home. If they have to go out, they should wear mask, maintain safe distance with others, often wash hands with soap, and so on.

"We hope there will be no more people die from COVID-19," he said.
