Rawa Bunga Urban Village Has Two Teams to Handle COVID-19 Bodies

Rawa Bunga Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta has two teams to handle COVID-19 bodies.

Since the team was formed, they had handled four COVID-19 patients who died at home

Rawa Bunga Urban Village Head, Agustina said that teams consisting of 9 PPSU personnel and local community are always ready to help residents who need assistance in handling family members who died at home due to COVID-19.

In carrying out their duties on the field, team personnel were accompanied by officers from Jatinegara Sub-district Health Center. Thus the deceased is handled according to applicable standard operating procedures.

"We have two teams to handle COVID-19 bodies consisting of PPSU personnel and local residents. Previously, they have been trained by Jatinegara Sub-district Health Center in early July at sub-district office," she explained, Friday (7/30).

Since the team was formed, they had handled four COVID-19 patients who died at home. Two bodies in RW 08 and two others in RW 04 and RW 06.

Those four bodies were buried at Rorotan Public Cemetery, Kober Ulu Rawa Bunga Public Cemetery, Prumpung Public Cemetery and one body was cremated in Cibinong, West Java.

"Teams also help transport the bodies to the burial ground at Rorotan Public Cemetery, Cilincing, North Jakarta," she mentioned.
