Free Masks Distributed to Harapan Island Residents

Joint officers from Harapan Island Urban Village PPKM Command Post, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands distributed masks to local residents for free thus they could continue to comply with health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

Harapan Island Urban Village Secretary, Irfan Damanhuri hopes residents will no longer use unfit masks or only use it as formality.

"It is very important to use masks that are clean and in good condition for maximum protection and better use," he conveyed, Thursday (8/5).

He explained, as many as 10 joint personnel went around in public areas and residential areas to distribute the masks.

"We hope residents can continue to comply with health protocols although they have been vaccinated, thus they will not be exposed to COVID-19," he mentioned.
