129,978 Vehicles Turned Back from Four Checkpoints in East Jakarta

The joint personnel had stopped around 129,978 vehicles from four checkpoints in East Jakarta and instructed drivers to turn go back to where they came from after they failed to produce the necessary permits and travel requirements or called STRP, on Monday (8/9).

Supervision and Control Division Head, Riky Erwinda said, those four checkpoints were set up on Jalan Raya Bogor in front of Panasonic Gobel, Jalan Raya Bekasi (precisely at Cacing Traffic Light U-turn), Jalan Raya Kalimalang (precisely at intersection of Jalan H. Naman), and Jalan DI Panjaitan to Jalan Basuki Rahmat and Jalan KH Abdullah Syafii Tebet, South Jakarta.

"We stop them, as they can't show STRP document and vaccine certificate," he said.

Of 129,978 vehicles, 89,711 were two-wheeled vehicles, 220 were three-wheeled vehicles, 36,400 were four-wheeled vehicles and 3,648 were more than four-wheeled vehicles.

"We ask them to turn back from four checkpoints," he stated.
