Parekraf Socializes the Use of PeduliLindungi Application to Tourism Business Operators

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Agency invited tourism business operators, including restaurants and cafes at Jakarta Parekraf Agency Office, on Monday (9/6). In this event, Parekraf wanted to socialize the use of PeduliLindungi application in restaurants and cafes that were built in separate buildings (not in the mall).

Every guest and employee is required to scan barcode via PeduliLindungi application

In his remarks, Jakarta Parekraf Agency Acting Head (Plt), Gumilar Ekalaya explained that PeduliLindungi application is used by all employees and visitors. "Every guest and employee is required to scan barcode via PeduliLindungi application as a requirement to eat or go to work in restaurants and cafes. Those who don't have PeduliLindungi barcode can register through website www.phrionline.com," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

He also appealed business operators to form association to accommodate tourism business operators engaged in restaurants and cafes. This way, government regulations related to restaurants and cafes can be socialized more easily.

He also asked restaurants and cafe owners to comply with government regulations and run their business in accordance with health protocols that have been determined. "Such as complying with operating hours, limiting visitors to maximum capacity of 25% for indoor restaurants and cafes in separate buildings. This opening trial shouldn't be euphoric that leads to neglect health protocols," he asserted.

The use of PeduliLindungi application is in accordance with Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 38/2021 on Implementation of Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Level 4, Level 3, Level 2 Corona Virus Disease 2019 in Java and Bali.
