Anticipating flooding or inundation in rainy season, East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency will dredge reservoirs, rivers, and connecting (Phb) channels. Previously, there were 26 dredging locations. Now, 14 dredging locations will be added.

East Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Head, Puryanto stated, those 14 dredging locations will be additional priority scale in 2021, namely reservoir construction in Halim Perdanakusuma, dredging work in Sunter River, Cipinang Muara, Cakung Lama River, Surilang Reservoir, Babek TNI Cakung Phb Channel.

Next, dredging work in Cipinang River in Makasar Sub-district, Cipinang River in Ciracas, Baru River on Jl. "In order to dredge additional 14 locations, we have proposed another 60 heavy equipment," he mentioned, Wednesday (9/22).
Because he needed many heavy equipment for dredging work while the existing equipment are still used for dredging in 26 locations, his side will ask private companies to help through CSR. The current condition is that 50 heavy equipment units are being used for dredging in 26 locations.
"There are 93 dump trucks in 10 sub-districts. All of them are currently being used to transport mud sedimentation collected from reservoirs, rivers, and Phb channels," he conveyed.
