The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed five infiltration wells on Panggang Island, RT 02 and 07/RW 01, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.
Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri said, every well was built 38 centimeters width, 38 centimeters length and 50 centimeters depth.
Six Infiltration Wells Built in Lebak Bulus Urban Village
"They are connected with a water channel using a five-meter-length paralon. This project has been started since September 17 2021 and was completed yesterday," he expressed, Friday (9/24).
He added, a sodetan (crossing channel) was also built to connect the wells in RT 07/01 to RT 02/01 along the 15 meters using a paralon.
"Hopefully it is able to prevent inundation when heavy rain pours," he hoped.
