East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency says three sluice gates spread across East Jakarta are reportedly in normal condition. Those sluices are Ria Rio, United Traktor and Rawa Terate Krama Yudha, Cakung.

Infrastructure Management Division Head, Ikhwan Maulani said, checking the sluice gates and pump houses in 10 sub-districts was a routine agenda prior to the peak of the rainy season.
"They are in normal condition, especially at the Ria Rio Sluice Gate, which previously did not have a sluice gate, so the water is directly divided naturally, into reservoirs and IKIP's Phb Connecting Channel," he said.
According to him, the Ria Rio Sluice Gate has three locations, namely the flow from KIP, Kampung Ambon and Pulo Nangka connecting channels. But, currently only IKIP Phb has a sluice gate.
At the Ria Rio Reservoir Outlet section, he added, there was also only one sluice gate connecting the Sunter River. It also has a pump house in which there are three pumps each with 2,500 liters per second capacity. As panned, the agency would add two more pumps this year.
While the Traktor Sluice Gate connected Cakung Drain River to Cakung Lama River, including Krama Yudha Sluice Gate, connecting the crossing channel to Cakung Lama.
