Settlement in Kampung Rambutan to Have Interactive Park

East Jakarta Parks Sub-Department plans to build a green open space on a 5,000-wide-square-meter land in RT 06/03, Kampung Rambutan Urban Village, Ciracas Sub-District. The land acquisition for this project will be done this year.

The land is located in a settlement, thus it is suitable to build interactive park

“Rp 6 billion is prepared for the land acquisition. The land is located in a settlement, thus it is suitable to build interactive park. We’re currently examining the completeness of the land documents. If it is completed, we will acquire the land,” stated Head of East Jakarta Parks Sub-Department, Suzi Marzitawati, Wednesday (11/26).

According to Marzitawati, the green open space will be equipped with children’s playground. And since the location is passed by Cipinang River flows, later the visitors can utilize the riverbank as playground.

“It’s like in Dadap Park where children can play water in the park. Thus, there would be a distinctive atmosphere in Kampung Rambutan’s green open space,” she uttered.

For information, this plan is the only program of East Jakarta Parks Sub-Department this year. At this time, East Jakarta has green open spaces as wide as 5,926,811 square meters that spread in 503 locations.
