Ahok's Wife, Veronica Initiated Children Park in Jakarta

 Jakarta Family Welfare Movement (PKK) has a plan to build six children parks in the capital. Its construction will be carried out in five urban cities and one regency.

Children’s Park Project in North Jakarta Hampered by Land Availability

Jakarta PKK Chairwoman, Veroonica Tan disclosed her side intends to build six children parks that will be equipped with toilet, playground, etc.

 

"The park must have toilet and so on. Certainly, it is eco-friendly for mother and its children," expressed Veronica, after she led a meeting for children's park construction, at City Hall, Friday (11/7).

 

Ahok's Wife stated that park construction involves several companies through corporate social responsibility (CSR).

 

"PKK member will also be involved. Thus they can manage the park well," she told.

 

She is targeting the park to be completed in March 2015. Yet she did not tell how much fund that will be spent.

 

The land that will be prepared has varying sizes between 1,500-4,000 square meters. The land itself was already acquired and are under construction. It is located in Sungai Bambu, Tanjung Priok (North Jakarta), Gandaria Selatan (South Jakarta), Cideng (Central Jakarta), Cililitan (East Jakarta), Kembangan (West Jakarta) and Untung Jawa Island (Seribu Islands).
