PPAPP Agency's SAGA Podcast on Youtube Viewed by Thousands People

Podcast managed by Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency called SAGA has attracted both Jakarta and non-Jakarta residents.

This podcast is a means of education, motivation, and inspiration for families

The podcast, which is broadcast through Youtube channel of Head of Jakarta PPAPP Agency, Tuty Kusumawati, has reached 7,200 subscribers since it first aired on April 21, 2021.

This podcast which is also hosted directly by Tuty Kusumawati has aired 20 episodes with total 14,000 viewers per episode.

According to her, SAGA is short for Sahabat Keluarga (Family's Friend), a forum to share knowledge and experiences, both individuals and institutions about efforts to change to be better, productive, and useful.

"Target of SAGA podcast is families and general public. This podcast is a means of education, motivation, and inspiration for families wherever they are, with hope of reaching more people via social media, especially during the pandemic," she said, Tuesday (9/28).

Literally, she added, saga is kind of plant some have vines and others have stems. Ones with vines have fragrant leaves used for spices and medicine. Others with stems used to protect tree and the fruit contains of protein.

"In addition, saga is also known as heroic story that tells about wise people and teachers, as well as wise advice," she continued.

For information, SAGA podcast is held virtually by taping process via Zoom application, then broadcast on Tuty Kusumawati's Youtube channel once a week on Wednesday at 14:00. SAGA podcast also re-aired on Jakarta PPAPP Agency's Youtube Channel afterward.

"SAGA podcast invites competent speakers in their fields according to each episode's theme. Discussion is carried out casually with Q&A session between host and speakers around 30-60 minutes via Zoom," she conveyed.
