Thousand Islands PMI Fund Month Targets Rp 320 Million

We encourage the active participation of government officials and residents in raising donations for this humanitarian and social action

Fundraising for humanitarian donations through the 2021 Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Fund Month in the Thousand Islands is targeted to hit Rp 320 million.

Thousand Islands Vice Regent who is also Chairperson of the 2021 Thousand Islands PMI Fund Month, Muhamad Fadjar Churniawan said, socialization would be intensified in order to reach or exceed the target.

"We encourage the active participation of government officials and residents in raising donations for this humanitarian and social action," he expressed, after he led the evaluation meeting for the Thousand Islands PMI Fund Month at the Mitra Praja Office, Sunter, North Jakarta, Friday (10/1).

In the meantime, Thousand Islands PMI Vice Chairperson, Ayub Chalid uttered, thus far, the PMI fund month that had been collected reached Rp 16 million.

"Last year, we managed to collect about Rp 374 million from the target set at Rp 200 million. Then this year, we're optimistic to exceed the target," he stated.
