PT. MRT Jakarta Wins Four Awards in Top GRC Awards 2021

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) won four awards in Top Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Awards 2021 organized by Top Business magazine.

Starting from system, infrastructure, risk management, to compliance management must be implemented properly because it will improve sustainable business performance

Those four awards were Top GRC Awards 2021 with 5 Star predicate; Top Most Committed GRC Leader 2021, William P. Sabandar; The High Performing Board of Commissioners on GRC 2021; and The High Performing Corporate Secretary on GRC 2021.

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) President Director, William P. Sabandar expressed his gratitude and appreciation for national level award given to the company he leads.

"GRC implementation is an absolute thing which implemented at every level of PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda). Starting from system, infrastructure, risk management, to compliance management must be implemented properly because it will improve sustainable business performance," he said, Friday (10/8).

He explained that PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) as business entity owned by Jakarta Government which is engaged in public transportation is aware that good corporate governance practice is one of important driving forces that supports company to achieve sustainable business growth.

Good governance implementation, he assessed, can encourage company's performance to give optimal services to the community.

"This is also proven in several PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda)'s achievements for obtaining ISO certification for Integrated Management System ISO 9001: 2015, 14001: 2015, and 45001: 2018, as well as ISO 37001:2016 certification for Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP)," he mentioned.
