West Jakarta Mayor, Yani Wahyu Purwoko on this Thursday (10/14) symbolically distributed ready-to-eat food packages to residents on Jalan Keamanan, RT 13/03, Keagungan Urban Village, Tamansari.

He informed that it was Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) Food program launched by Jakarta Government in collaboration with PT. Pancoran Soccer Field, Turun Tangan Foundation, and Warteg Nusantara
Cooperative (Kowantara)."This ready-to-eat meals have been made by Warteg Biyan which is nearby," he said.
Latest Data on COVID-19 Cases and Vaccination in Jakarta as of October 14, 2021In this activity, Warteg Biyan provided 200 meal boxes which were given for free to residents of RT 13/03, Keagungan Urban Village.
He stated that today, 179 wartegs in West Jakarta who are members of Kowantara simultaneously distributed free meals to residents in their respective areas for about 50-200 boxes. The food has been paid by collaborator to stall owners.
He hopes this activity can help increasing warteg owner's turnover after being hit by pandemic.
